i believe that outreach is a key component of existing as an astronomer in the modern age. everyone should be exposed to the wonders of the universe, regardless of background, education, etc.

past outreach:

• astronomy monthly at washtenaw community college
  • this was a monthly astronomy club that i started at washtenaw community college
• student astronomical society telescope operator
  • operated the Angell Hall 0.4m observatory for the general public
