a big reason why i want to stay in academia is teaching. i love teaching at all levels, and hope to one day teach at the post-secondary level.

• peer tutor, washtenaw community college
  • for two years a tutored math, physics, and computer science at washtenaw community college.
• michigan math & science scholars summer program
  • designed course materials and helped teach the MMSS astrophysics course during the summers of 2023 & 2024. MMSS is a two week program which accepts high schoolers from across the globe interested in math or science.
• undergradate student mentor, university of michigan
  • mentored several 1st/2nd year undergraduates during my time at the university of michigan
• lab operator, university of michigan
  • ran observing nights for introductory astronomy/astrophysics classes at the university of michigan
• FCAD GRAD mentor
  • mentored several undergraduate students at UMass
